Password fatigue is real—students, teachers, and parents already have too many accounts to manage. NavEd's Single Sign-On integration simplifies authentication by letting users log in with their existing Google accounts. One click, no separate password to remember, and they're in. Our SSO implementation uses industry-standard OAuth 2.0 for security and supports multi-tenant environments where each school maintains separate authentication. When users log in with Google, their accounts are automatically linked to their NavEd profile—no manual account creation needed for users who already have Google credentials. Secure token management ensures sessions are protected. The seamless login experience improves adoption rates as users don't need to remember another password. SSO also improves security by leveraging Google's authentication infrastructure including two-factor authentication if users have it enabled on their Google accounts.
